Founded by Martin Luther in 1517, the Lutheran Church teaches that a person is saved only by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ, not by works. Our congregation accepts and teaches the Bible-based teachings of Martin Luther, who inspired the reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century. The teaching of Luther can be summarized in these short phrases: Christ alone. Grace alone. Scripture alone. Faith Alone.
What is a Lutheran?
